Ping Cisco Secure ACS Solution Engine

1- i installed Cisco Secure ACS Solution Engine wiht V3.3 and i can access through http port 2002 but i cant ping it from any where in network but the server can ping every thing ,, is this normal.

2- if i cant ping it haw i can define the service keeplaive to load balance 2 ACS engine using CSS

By the way, I forgot that ACS 3.3 appliance has a built-in CSA. This agent is enabled by default. It explains why you can't ping it.

To disable/enable it, go to "System Configuration - Appliance Configuration". Enable/disable the CSA Enabled check box as required.

Hi,

Once ACS is configured properly, you can always ping the server, just like other network host/device.

Check your ACS network configuration again. You shouldn't get timeout if your ACS is properly configured.
