Hi,
The requirement is to intergrate Pix firewall with
Cisco Tacacs server. We need to do authentication as well as authorization.The issue is that in case the TACACS is not responding or/fails , we are not able
get to the Pix even through colsole as it gives a "command authorization failed" message.
To the best of my knowledge , the Pix doesn't support automatic fallback to the Local till the latest version.Please correct me if I am wrong.
What are the options available so that we can implement authentication and authorization through Tacacs and not face crisis when the Tacacs goes down ?
Is having two TACACS server in the same AAA group a good option ?
