regarding local user database

hi all,

Can anyone update regarding this issue quickly ?

We have configured ASA 5510 with Remote access VPN, the no of users are getting increased day by day.

How many local users can we have in ASA 5510 ?

we will be using for Remote Access VPN authentication( VPN-Filter option will be used to restrict the user)

will it increase the load on ASA ? / If we configure 250 users locally on ASA, will it affect the performance of the device ?

Ravi,

Regarding local users there is no enforced limit on the maximum number of users defined in the local user database on Cisco ASA and PIX Security Appliances.

I don't think it will cause any performance issues, other then Admin overheads.
