Rename ACS Username

Please how can we rename an existing username on ACS 4.2 Application.

I don't want to rename the group just the username.

1- then r u sure that i have to delete the user and re create it?

     is there any defined steps to follow? shall i remove the user from te group then add the new username?

2- one more thing is that when using VPN Concentrator that authenticates with ACS shall i have to create 2 usernames for each VPN User? one user should be the same user created on the vpn concentrator and the second for the ACS app that will be used? then i add the two users to a one group?

3- when adding  a new vpn user what is the exact config to do on the VPN Concentrator?

Hi,

You will have to delete the user from the user setup and create a new one. No need to delete from the group setup.

On the concentrator, you need to define the protocol you want to use for authentication.

I guess i have not understood the following requirement properly. Please let me  know if i got this one correctly.

The authentication request from the Concentrator will head to ACS server and ACS server will checkits internal database.The users present in the ACS should be able to authenticate. no need to create the users and place them in groups.
