Hi Team
I can't find any documentation on what steps I need to do to replace VMs with physical appliances, I want to use the same IP address for the ISE so I don't change all of my network device's configuration.
do I need to do a backup and restore or I should just export certificates and keys then join the deployment?

Hi @AhmedALJAWAD44875 ,
if you have a Standalone ISE, then use the Backup/Restore process.
if you have a Multi-Node Deployment, then de-register the "VM Node" from the ISE Cube, after that register the "Appliance Node" to the ISE Cube ... please take a look at: Setting Up Cisco ISE in a Distributed Environment, search for Replacing the Cisco ISE Appliance Hardware.
Hope this helps !!!

@Marcelo Morais , Thank you ! that what I though. what got me confused is that I open a ticket with Cisco TAC and the TAC engineer told me that I HAVE to do backup and restore!
