Self-Registered Portal account duration

Hello Community,

is it possible that guests can choose their account duration at the self-registered page? So that they can choose either 1,2,3,4 days or 1 week? We use ISE version 2.1.

Thanks a lot.

Cheers

Philipp

that's correct @paul mentioned

On a single portal no its not a capability. Would recommend setting the commonly used duration and then have a sponsor (lobby admin perhaps) change it for them if needed. Or like paul said just set it to a week and make easy for everyone.

Otherwise you could try creating several self-registration portals with different durations and linking to them if absolutely needed:

We have noticed that the apple Captive network assistant (apple minibrowser) may not like this scripting magic. Would recommend enabling captive portal bypass on your WLC if running into issues and just using native full browsers.

I don't believe so, but sponsors can come in after the fact and modify the guest duration.  Honestly, why would you want to even give the guest that choice.  If you are going to allow them to select up to a week which most guests would probably just select any way then just make the self-registered guest type good for a week.
