Hi All,
I have lost web access to what was a secondary instance of a distributed deployment. No credentials will work.
I can get on via the CLI no problem.
I have tried to reset the password from the CLI but get the following -
acs reset-password ACSadmin
This command resets the 'ACS Administrator' password to its original value and enables the account if it is a recovery admin.
Are you sure you want to continue? (yes/no) yes
Administrator password can be reset only on a PRIMARY instance.
How can I get back into the webgui of this instance? Can't see a way to put it in local mode from the CLI.
Many Thanks

What version of ACS are you running? Have you tried issuing "acs stop" and "acs start" from the CLI to restart the ACS services and see if that helps?

Hi David,
I am running ACS 5.6. I managed to resolve this by a lucky password attempt today. After further reading I think my only other option would have been to reset the config via CLI and then join it to primary as a secondary instance again.
All sorted now. Thank You
