hi,
Our customer is running ISE 1.3 on the 3495 appliances and are upgrading their environment to ISE 2.2.
Is it mandatory to upgrade the BIOS/CIMC of the appliances before doing the upgrade of ISE?
If so, what version of BIOS would be recommended?
Many thanks
Gert

Yes, CIMC/BIOS needs updated. See CSCuz09175.
Below from our engineering teams on SNS-3415/-3495 appliances,
As there is no dependency exists between CIMC/BIOS firmware and ISE, they can upgrade the CIMC/BIOS or ISE from current version.
Recommended to upgrade firmware CIMC to 2.0(9C), then upgrade it into 3.0.
