In prev. IOS 12.2(17d)SXB10 e.g. a C6k had a syslog MSG for a failed SSH Authentication

(%SSH-5-SSH2_USERAUTH:)

This MSG is no longer present

(in 12.2(18)SXF).

On a 3750 e.g. there is a command "ip ssh logging event", which brings me back this log msg. Does anyone know, if the command "ip ssah logg event" is planed for a future ver. for C6k ?

And why there this log msg just been droped out of any new IOS Ver. per default ?

To successfully import or add an IOS IPS device to IPS MC, there are certain prerequisite configurations that must be

present on the IOS IPS routers. The following is a summary of the bootstrap configuration that is required.

You must enable SSH in an IOS IPS device for configuration, import and deployment via IPS MC. In addition, SDEE must be enabled for event reporting purposes. Finally, you need to make sure the clock setting on the IPS device is synchronized with IPS MC

management station.
