static Routes on ACS Server ,Why We Need It ?

i saw alot of labs scenarios and one thing i can't understand it , in some cases i found that i must add some routes on the ACS server , why we not set a gateway ?

This is what you have to type on ACS command line. Why is that not working for you, that's the question :-)

what i mean is that i see alot of people don't assign a default gateway to windows running acs and use the command ADD STATIC NET from the cmd to add static routes , so why they don't assign a default gateway instead of that

ok so you're talking acs 4 and not 5 ...

But it's the same thing.
