Tacacs server : Host can not be removed / edited

Following error was prompt if when i tired to remove a host (e.g.troubled-host ) in device group.

Edit Failed

Failed to edit troubled-host. Reason: The Host no longer exists.

If this is pre 4.0 ACS and non-appliance...

You can edit the windows registry to remove the "dead" host.

Navigate to HKLM/SW/CiscoAAAvX.Y/Hosts

You'll see a sub-key for each entry. Delete the whole sub-key.

Then re-start all services from the control panel incl CSAdmin.

If you're on the appliance or 4.0 - sorry you're hosed :(
