hi there, company is begining to roll out tacacs+ for network devices. We like the windows versions features (mostly LDAP support) but we're a pure unix shop.
Has anyone ever found any unix version of a tacacs+ server that supports ldap?

To the best of my knowledge, tacacs+ with LDAP is not available for UNIX. This information is available in the document 'Cisco Secure ACS UNIX FAQ' at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/secursw/ps4911/products_qanda_item09186a0080107cfb.shtml

Once upon a time there was source code for TACACS+ on one of the Cisco sites (I believe it was a developer's site).
I do not remember if it supported LDAP.
Scan through / do a search of Cisco's download areas ... it might still be there (Google too).
I ran it on a Ultra60 along with freeRADIUS.
I'll poke around and see if I can find it again. I may even still have the files somewhere.
FWIW
