Username with special characters

Hi,

my customer is currently migrating from ACS to ISE. He has local users configured in ACS which contain special characters (like %). Customer is not able to configure them in ISE, ISE refuses them.

Is there a workaround here, or does the customer actually has to change these usernames?

Product manager @tal_surasky says not supported , don’t see how there would be a workaround
