Using AAA Tacacs+ to authenticate VPN users

Can get the VPN users to authenticate locally using 'aaa authentication login vpnuser local' but cannont get it to authenticate using 'aaa authentication login vpnuser group tacacs+' I know the Cisco ACS server is responding when I telnet to the Router and I authenticate with my account, just cannont get the vpn user to use the same tacacs+ account. ANy thoughts???

What hardware platform are you terminating the VPN on?

Can you post the relevant parts of the config?

When you have configured to try to use tacacs for authentication, and when you test it, does the attempt to authenticate show up in the logs of your tacacs server?
