VPN Client and authentication

Hi,

I have a Cisco 806 router and want to enable VPN access to a Windows 2000 PC (with Cisco VPN client).

On the Cisco Web site i can found only sample about Cisco VPN Client 3.x for Windows to IOS Using local Extender. For this solution I need a AAA Server.

1) Is there an another solution without AAA Server, wich IOS command i need for authorization and authentication.

2) If there is no solution , where can i find a free AAA Server or Radius for Windows 2000 plateforms ?

Local authentication is to the router itself, you don't need an auth server. You just need to create a username and password in config mode like this

username yellow passwork river

But for a free Radius server windows 2000 server comes with one IAS
