Is it possible to avoid warning message on the browser during web redirection when user tries to access an https/secure website ?

This issue has been explained very well in the link https://supportforums.cisco.com/document/12398536/understanding-https-redirect-over-web-auth

I was wondering if there is anyway around it ?

No it's the way certs work since you went to one site and another site responded therefore incorrect and a mismatch

HTTPS redirection is not recommended. See this thread
