Windows TACACS 3.3 GUI Problem

Hi,

I hope someone can guide me. I am using the Windows version of ACS 3.3 and everything seems work fine except some of the GUI interfaces have a Red X. I could not configure anything on the interfaces with the Red X such as the NAR on the group setting.

Also, I follow all the requirements such as IE 6.0 SP1, W2K+ SP4, Sun Java 1.4.2_04, and I still could not see some of the GUI interfaces. The ACS server is located in the local LAN as well.

Please advice. Thanks.

Hi,

Issue is with the Java ... try re-installing sun Java again...

I tried more than 5 times...but no luck.

Check the following setting on Internet Explorer:

Tools ---> Internet Options ----> Advanced ---> Look out for the following:

Microsoft VM

Java Console enabled (requires restart)

Java Logging enabled

JIT compiler for virtual machine enabled (requires restart)

Check for the above settings, all of them should be checked. If they are not check them, close the browser and open a new window, and try opening the pages again.

If this still does not solves the issue, take a backup of ACS, reinstall the ACS again.
