5 Min cpu event !

Hi all experts.

I configured the following event on my cisco 3845 router. IOS is c3845-advsecurityk9-mz.124-22.T2.bin

event manager applet cisco
event ioswdsysmon sub1 cpu-proc taskname "cmpCPUTotal5minRev" op gt val 20 period 10
action 1.0 syslog msg "High CPU utilization"

R1# sh process cpu

CPU utilization for five seconds: 52%/41%; one minute: 57%; five minutes: 59%

But i dont see any message. Any help pls

You need to use the SNMP event detector for what you want.  Try this:

event manager applet cisco

event snmp oid 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.8.1 get-type exact entry-op gt entry-val 20 poll-interval 10

action 1.0 syslog msg "High CPU utilization"
