Hello team,
Can someone help me how i can assign a name to IP Addresses on cisco router?
when you trace to something through my network, it shows you IP and Name (for example, x.x.x.x-boarder-gateway-router)
Thanks!

- This usually is an external issue and not related to your router, meaning that in a standard network there will be a set of DNS nameservers available for resolving hostnames on the particular network; add the needed dns-name on to your 'dns master'.

Thank you marce1000
This means that there are some configurations to be added in the DNS servers? if yes, how to do it?
I am not good in servers administration.
Thanks

- This is beyond the scope of this forum and also depend on the dns-platform being used (public dns software, infoblox,...., etc.).
