Can not send a sysConfigChange alert

I am using CWSNMS with WUG.

I have events and alert configured for sysConfigChange as well as Link up and Link Down on specific interfaces.

The trapping and alerting for Link up and Link down on specific interfaces is working well. The event/alert for sysConfigChange is not.

I can see the trap coming in via the SNMP activity Log yet no alert is being sent.

Any clues?

Check if the match parameters configured for the Sysconfig change alert are configured correctly on the Whats up gold. Since you can see the SNMP throwing an trap for the Sysconfig change the problem could be that the WUP may not have the correct match parameter to trigger the alert when the SNMP trap comes in.Also check whether you are using the full version of the software, because if it is a trial version it may not support all alerts and events.
