As stated above I am having a problem updating my boot code. I have been successful updating the firmware but cant get the boot file to load and that then in turn (as I understand) is also preventing me loading the latest firmware..
I see here that others have had a similar problem and its resolved by staging various versions of the files.
Currently I have Firmware 1.3.5.58 and Boot 1.1.0.6 on the switch. The boot if the original shipping software and has never been updated, however I managed to get the firmware up a few versions using http.
I am trying to load sx200_boot-13506.rfb and then ,after I was successful with that upgrade, I intended to go to the latest version and also update the firmware to the latest version.
Is this the right order to do the above and the right initial file (sx200_boot-13506.rfb)?
And is the order also correct - boot upgrade first and then firmware?
Thanks

Still stuck. Does anyone have an answer on the above? Thanks

As an update for anyone who has a similar situation in the future I contacted Cisco support and they advised me to load boot code 1.3.5.06 and firmware 1.3.5.58 (the boot version is in the same folder as 1.3.5.58). Then I rebooted the machine and loaded the latest firmware. All worked fine using TFTPd32 as the transfer tool.
