Using SNMPv3 on a catalyst switch and on an ASA, is it possible to change the SNMP port used for polling? I see that you can change the port for sending traps, but we want to use a different port when polling from a network management server (solarwinds). I've reviewed the SNMPv3 documentation and can't see a way to do this.
Thanks.

I don't believe there's any way to do this for IOS or ASA software.
What's your reason for wanting to?

Just a little security through obscurity. Trying to throw everything we can at it security-wise, including snmpv3 authPriv , limiting snmp access to one IP, limiting the MIB view, etc. Using a non-standard port is just one more thing (a small one) on the list.
