If you had a syslog server enabled before crash, you could check for the syslog messages...

i never had the chance to enable syslog i set the ip on the fastethernet mod and the next thing i know it crashed.i have tried to diff ios the card in show diag say unknown and eeprom is all 00.i look on the cisco site they use ios 12.3 (4)t i don't have a contract with cisco just a lot of the routers.i have search on google and seen a lot of people have this peoblem , i think it is a ios issue after all the research i have done. i can't access the bug tool kit on cisco , because i don't have the access level.thank's for the help.
