Hello, i have a Cisco AP and i would like to set it to standalone / autonomous mode, to operate without WLC in my home network. As far as i know i need to replace the rom, i downloaded it from the Cisco website. I found some howtos but not for this specific model and - maybe i miss something - but those commands does not work for me, no matter what command i type after log in with the default credentials (via console) i got "Invalid input detected at '^' marker." response. I have a tftp server running with the rom but I'm struggling with this for the past 3 days so any help appreciated. I have to say, i'm completely beginner with Cisco APs so it might be some really basic thing.
