Good Day Fellow Network Peeps
So I have been working in the Industry For a while now and have been tasked to setup a Dockerized Firewall on a Cisco
now for the life of me I cant figure out how Cisco Does the routing to to be able to access it from the network
Other devices I can do with ease.
Consider this scenario All i need is a App-hosting App to have a static IP that is visible to the network
i have tried even the Wireshark guide that i am sure most has seen and have not gotten any joy
can some one point me in the Correct direction maybe i am missing a Fundamental step
i have wiped my config so i am open to fresh ideas
Thank's in advance for your time

Dockerized Firewall on a Cisco

is this vASA ? or any other firewall ?

what IOS XE running on the Cat 9300, and what License you have in that switch ?

For ASA  check as below :

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/catalyst9300/software/release/17-9/configuration_guide/b_stateful-firewall-cisco-catalyst-9300-series-switches/m_asac-firewall-apphosting.html

for any other provide the steps you followed how you hosting the APP ? and what configuration you applied in the switch.

check how the container works :
