Hi
The Cisco LMS 4.2 installation went without hickup, and it works fine.
When i try to upgrade to 4.2.2 i get a error during the installation that some files are locked.
I checked the documentation, it says nothing about stopping services before the upgrade.
I tried stopping the management daemon, but it still throws the same error.
You can view a screen shot on the link below.

Probably the Daemon manager got stuck while stopping the processes. We usually recommend to stop the daemon manager via CMD (net stop crmdmgtd) and then lauch update.
Now you may want to check your task manager and kill the dmgtd.exe process via right click and end process/end process tree.
-Thanks

I ran the net stop command, and checked the task manager, it is stopped. Now i got a even longer list.
I tried setting the manager to manual in services.msc and then rebooting, it still throws me the same error.

After what you have done, it is strange to see this error. As if the Daemon manager is set to manual and Server rebooted, any ciscoworks process should not be running, unless started manually.
Do you have any tool/software to manage processes and it starts some essential processes when they are down??
> Do you see dmgtd.exe in task manager? It is Obvious for a executable to keep hold of many .dll library files, hence as soon as the .exe filed is killed, the .dll files should be free and you can try hitting retry.
Please make sure you comply to following best practices for windows installation :
