Cisco Prime email notification send delay

Hello,

I have a problem on getting too much email notifications because of the alerts that occur only for few minutes and then solves itself out.

I have 150+ AP:s and I have a notification policy where it contains only critical conditions on AP:s. However I do get an email for every few minutes when one of my AP radios drop and they drop because in our facility there is so much noise in particular areas.

So I'd like to know if there is possibility for a condition to send the notification ONLY if it has been there for example over 10 minutes and after that it sends the notification and if the problem solves it out itself within the 10 minutes it won't send notification about it.

Thanks in advance.

Janne

 - I don't think this is possible since the problem >is there<  at that instance, since the problem is  known (for your site/environment)  you will have to consider disabling email notifications for that particular alarm-class.

I see that disabling that alarm-class as a problematic solution because it is critical if the condition continues for a long period of time.

I wonder could it solve the problem if I create an alarm policy which suppresses the specific condition alarm for example that 10 minutes?
