Cisco View Device Package update failure

Hi there,

I have downloaded a new device package for the 6500 for Cisco View and would like load it in Common Services->devices update->Cisco View but when i try to uninstall the old package i get the following error,in the activity log it says

[CiscoView] with message : com.cisco.nm.xms.psu.packagemgmt.InstallerException: Repository in use. Another Package Support Updater client session may be modifying device support.

what could be causing this problem

If you're sure no one else is running another PSU session, then you have a stale lock. Remove NMSROOT/Psu.Lock and NMSROOT/www/classpath/com/cisco/nm/xms/psu/Psu.Lock if they exist.
