CiscoWorks LMS 4.0 and ACS 5.x

Hi,

Is it possible to integrate CWLMS 4.0 with ACS 5.x ???

I need to create Network Device Groups in CW, but I understand that it is only possible when CW is integrated with ACS.

If exist any other way, please let me know.

nope! The term Network Defined Groups (NDGs) is usually associated with ACS but you can still define groups in LMS independent of NDGs.

Please note, however, the communication between LMS 4.0 and ACS moving forward is ONLY for authentication not for Roles Based Access Control (RBAC).  The RBAC role is moved back into LMS.

I asking this because in LMS 3.2 it was not possible to create groups if CW is not full integrated with ACS, but I understand that LMS 4.0 allow to create NDG locally and assign roles for individual administration.

That is correct.  In essence the NDG functionality (part of RBAC control) in LMS 4.0 is now localized versus on ACS.
