Hi,
i'm new to Cisco switches and i need some help to get started.
i've got a Catalyst 2960-L new out of the box.
i'm trying to connect with Configuration Profesionnal to this switch.
i'm following the instructions in the manual
User Guide for Cisco Configuration Professional for Catalyst 2960-L
Smart Managed Switches, Release 15.2(6)E2b
But i cannot login with the default credentials described on page 6 of this manual.
Also the default ip address is different.
i figured out via the show version command that this switch has IOS version 15.2(6)E
So my user guide documentation doesn't correspond to my IOS version. But i can't find the use guide for 15.2(6)E
Can anyone supply me this user guide for 15.2(6)E or give me the default credentials for 15.2(6)E ?
Thanks for your replies.

Thanks a lot Leo, that's correct.
i actually figured out you have to follow the
User Guide for Cisco Configuration Professional for Catalyst, Release 1.1
manual which shows the right credentials.
Happy New Year !

Hello !
i got a little further with the configuration of my out of the box 2960L switch.
i was able to run the day 0 wizard via Configuration Professional, assigned a hostname, ip address etc.
worked as expected.
Now when i try to reconnect with Configuration Professional to the new IP address of my switch i can't connect and after a few seconds get the error Connection Timed Out in my web browser.
Tried with Chrome & Firefox, same error.
disabled the firewall on my PC, no difference.
i'm out of ideas, any suggestions ?
Thanks,

CPC is working.

Carlo
