CW SNMS 1.5 install error: Cannot create the install dependency file

Hi Everyone

I have a problem with installing Cisco Works SNMS 1.5 .

I've also changed the temp environment variable to "c:\temp" but this does not solve my issue.

I still get this errormessage:

Cannot create the install dependency file.

Her's the log-extract:

Does anyone have an idea?

Try the following steps.

1. Right-click My Computer, then choose Properties, Advanced Tab, choose Environment Variables.

2. Under System Variables, find JAVA_COMPILER and set it to NONE.

3. Run the install again.

I had a problem with the CD - after cleaning the surface the Install process run without any interruption. (I tried to copy the CD to the local Harddrive - and this failed also)
