Devices not getting added to database

I removed about 30 devices from the Ciscoworks common services database after their IPs changed (now realize I didn't have to do this). I see these 30 devices getting discovered and even RME pulling configs, but I do not see them in the database (RME, CS, anything). When I try to manually add them I get told I cannot because their are already devices with same name. How can I clean this up and get these routers back?

I assume you mean you cannot see them in the device selector? Are you integrated with ACS?

Yeah we are integrated with ACS

Then make sure the devices are configued as TACACS+ clients of that same ACS server. Check the Device not in ACS report under Common Services > Device and Credentials > Reports, and make sure you take care of all the devices listed there.

Note: if you are using NDGs in ACS, make sure your user has CiscoWorks access to the proper NDG in which those devices exist.
