I will configure "errdisable recovery cause mac-limit" but where it will get its mac-limit? Is it on "switchport port-security maximum <number>"?

What will be the cons of using "errdisable recovery cause mac-limit"?

If you use errordisable recovery... then in case that port will go to err-disable state, it will be automatically activated after configured period of time (default is 300 seconds, I think).

Otherwise you have to go to configuration of interface and type commands shutdown and then no shutdown to activate it
