Hi,

 

can I use the Cisco UCS Host Upgrade Utility for C220M4 to update the server and CIMC firmware on the prime appliance?

You can use the CIMC port to update the CIMC firmware.

Should I only update the CIMC firmware or BIOS and firmware of the Prime Gen 2 Appliance, too? I just what to ensure that the server is afterwards still recognized as a PI-UCS-APL-K9 prime appliance and not as a C200 M4 UCS server.
