I'm dealing with a setup where ftp is used as a flash-check-thingy. There is a bunch of different platforms 2960-x/3560/9200 etc... ftp password is 38 characters, which is an issue on the different platforms. Some support up to 15, some 31, others i dont know, but they wont accept the "long" password. I know that there is a bunch of different alternatives, which we are also looking in to. But i tried to find documentation for this limitation in password length, but without any luck. Maybe i'm blind, but in no of the command references it's documented.
Is anyone able to point me in the right direction?
