I don't believe that series supports the Environmental Monitor MIB.

http://tools.cisco.com/Support/SNMP/do/BrowseMIB.do?local=en&step=2&submitClicked=true&mibName=CISCO-ENVMON-MIB#contents

Within that MIB, one finds the object: ciscoEnvMonTemperatureStatusValue

(which reports the testpoint temperature in degrees Celsius).

Cisco provides support support for this MIB on the many platforms but not eh 1700 series (at least according to my search on the MIB locator)

Hope this helps, please rate helpful posts.

It really depends on the 1700 model you are looking for info for.

Lower end 1700's like the 1701 do not support this mib as they do not have on board HW sensors.

higher end 1700's like the 1751 do support the CISCO-ENVMON-MIB

thanks for your help!!
