how to configure rspan between nexus 5000s and 4506e

Hi all

I was trying to configure a remote span between a cisco nexus 5000 and a catalyst 4506 core switch

the source of the traffic is from a server connected to the 5k and the destination port is on the 4506, I have a remote span vlan between the devices but I can't figure out how to configure them 

can someone please help

As far as i recall, rspan isn't possible on Nexus 5k. Instead you can implement ERSPAN.

However, there're some limitations for ERSPAN on Catalyst 4500.

so this mean I can't configure the normal remote span with the below commands

#monitor session 1 source interface f0/1 (you can choose receive, send, both)

#monitor session 1 destination remote vlan 2

#monitor session 1 source remote vlan 2

#monitor session 1 destination interface f0/2

Honestly, on Nexus 5k, rspan wasn't working/possible.

You can check the Nexus documentation based on your nx-os version to validate.

I've done a quick search and still not possible on this platform
