I have recently enabled port 80 on my 2800 series router so that I may use Cisco's SDM.
I am now concerned about the vulnerability of my router.
I am fairly new to the cisco world and would like to know what I can do to secure that port.
Thank you
Mike

Hi Mike
one thing you can do to secure it a little is to use an access-list that defines which IP addresses can connect to the http server eg.
access-list 1 permit 192.168.5.2
ip http access-class 1

Thanks Jon,
I thought about this but was a little confused on how to do it. The reason is...Sometimes I might need to access the router from home, where I use the local internet provider(COMCAST). I have a wireless router which assigns some default class C address to my laptop. In this case would I use the IP on the WAN side of my wireless.
Other times I may be on the road using my Verizon card, in which case I'm pulling a completely different IP.
Thanks again for your quick response and help.
