How can one import a bunch of devices into new ciscoworks version via seedfile? It is different to the older versions as the inventory dump includes sysOID attributes etc that were not included before. Help!

Just leave those fields blank. RME will query the device for the OID.

You would need to get the format of the new seed file and use that. If you attempt to use the old seedfile format it will fail.

You could get a sample csv file from LMS 2.5 by manually adding a device and exporting it. Then use something like excel to copy and paste fields from the old one to the new one.

Thanks i tried that but there are new fields like sysOID which seem to be different for each device... thats what i need to workaround. Appreciate the help!
