inventory collection fails

We have LMS4.0 monitoring 100+ devices. In that collection we have 2 4506e switches. The switches are identical,but one is inventoried successfully and the other always fails. Both have verified their credentials. The 4506e failing inventory is the only device not being inventoried. I looked at other post and increased snmp timeout with no effect. Any suggestions?

Hi,

Check the IC_Server.log after enabling debugs.  That should give you the information you are after.  You could also try deleting the failing 4506e out of DCR and re-adding it to see if that clears the issue.
