IOS Software Distribution

Hello, I have pushed a new IOS version to a CISCO 2851 device.  When I performed the copy I used Sotware Management - Software Distribution, I selected the correct device with the only option of "Do not insert new boot commands into configuration file". The IOS file was successfully copied to the flash of the deivce.  Now, next week I want to implement that IOS on the device, with the file that I copied over there today.  How in LMS can I stage a job to now "Insert boot commands into the config file" and reboot the device so that the new IOS is utilized?

I know I could have done the copy, and insert boot commands and reboot at the same time with Software Distribution. I would like to know how to utilize the IOS file that I have already copied "staged" to the flash of the device...

Thanks

John

Hi John,

You could've scheduled for next week for the IOS to be pumped into the appliance and the boot statement to be changed and rebooted.
