Hi,
I have configured IP SLA to determine behavior of a local service provider and have it working great, one question stands. I have set up the packetloss perameter and it seems to look (appear) as a counter. I need to know if the counter is the actuall packetloss count or is it represented in a %. And also is the packetloss out of a certain number of packets sent. e.g. you get a number of 2, is this 2 packets out of 100 packets. etc. or is it 2% packetloss out of 100 packets (100 just being an example) thanks and much appreciated.

Packet loss is a counter and will increment as such 1:1 when a loss is encountered. Number will be a straight count of the number of packets issued by the probe per operation. Since Jitter probes issue more than one packet you can report more that one packet loss per probe attempt. Use show ip sla operation [latest stats] and show ip sla statistics aggregated [previous and current hourly summary] to view the details.
