Hello,
I was told by Cisco Support that they no longer support the 7960 Series. Our phone system in our office is down and I need support. We already had our phone service provide out and they determined it is not an issue with phone service, rather our IP voice system. The s/n on one of the phones is INM08371UWK. Can you help?
Thank you!

Given the age of the 7960s, this might be a good time to consider replacing them with a newer supported model.

I totally get how urgent this is for your team. Since Cisco doesn’t support the 7960 phones anymore, here are some quick things you can try to get them working again without replacing them right away:
Make sure your phone system (like Call Manager) is running and the phones can reach it.
Check the phones are getting IP addresses properly from DHCP.
Verify the TFTP server is up and serving the right files — the phones need this to boot.
Try restarting the phones by unplugging and plugging them back in.
If possible, try factory resetting the phones to clear any issues.
Meanwhile, if you have softphone options (apps on PCs or phones), use those temporarily.
Hope this helps get your phones back up quickly!

How many phones are there and how many are not working?
What call-manager is used, Cisco-based or 3CX/Asterisk?
