I am not Networking guy, but here is my question.
We have vSphere environment on-prem, and all Datastores are created in Layer2 network (not routable) as recommended. Then the access to VM's will be through corporate network.
We are doing infrastructure test in AWS, and not using vSphere, just EC2 instances. Of cause, in this environment, there would be no Datastore.
Just for the purpose of making myself clear, in AWS, is it conceptually possible to set up a layer 2 network and why?
Thanks!
