Hello!
Does anybody know is it possible to limit specific Cisco-device based interface information by iftype or something else with snmp view commands or something else in IOS? Many NMS:s could make use of that feature not getting too much information i.e Enterprise level routers with many thousands of virtual interfaces.

SNMP view is a mapping between SNMP objects and the access rights available for those objects. An object can have different access rights in each view. Access rights indicate whether the object is accessible by either a community string or a user, refer the following link for configuring a snmp view :
