LMS 2.5 restore to a different server

Hello,

I have LMS 2.5 for windows, due to server performance I have to move to another server so I done as follow:

1. backup data via GUI

2. copied the backup to the new server

3. switched off old LMS server

4. configured new server like the old one (ip and hostname)

5. installed LMS 2.5

6. restore from backup

Something is gone wrong because restore ended with error during RME phase. I'm sure that my procedure is not right seems to be complicated.

Anyone of you can suggested me the right one, would be great if possible to keep both server online (different ip and hostname)

just another doubt, reading data migration from lms 2.5 to lms 2.6 I see

Step 5 Copy the CS, RME, CM and DFM data from Machine A to any temporary location.

For CV, copy the user's device preference files  from Machine A. The files are available at :
NMSROOT\MDC\tomcat\webapps\CVng\WEB-INF\classes\cvuserprefs\

The files have to be placed with the same directory structure in Machine B.

what data have I to copy for CS RME CM an DFM ? Backup data is not sufficient ?
