LMS 3.1 not archiving device configurations

Hi,

I've installed LMS 3.1 on two Windows 2003 servers. In both cases, the LMS servers is not archiving the configurations from the majority of the devices (~600).

I've verified (via a credential verification report) that these devices are reachable from both test LMS servers. One of the test servers is in the same subnet as our production server.

Our Production LMS 3.01 server has no issues with the archives.

Any ideas?

What errors are you seeing trying to archive the configurations?

Hi Joe,

This is resolved.

It appears to be an issue with the IP NAME-SERVER and the IP DOMAIN commands.

All of the devices are in a different domain than the LMS server. If I put the devices in the correct domain they archive fine.

Has this changed since LMS3.01. I have no problems with the archiving there.

I know of no such problems. Without actual error messages, though, it's impossible to offer a diagnosis.
