Hi,
I have the demo version installed right now, so I'm not sure if this one of the limitations in a demo or not.
I have a test router set up with a static IP. I've provided the correct credentials and set the Policies correctly.
Discovery status Completed
Discovery start time Thu Feb 17 15:47:22 EST 2011
Discovery end time Thu Feb 17 15:47:33 EST 2011
Total devices discovered 1
Reachable devices 1
Unreachable devices 0
Devices newly added to DCR 1
Devices updated in DCR 0
I get that once I run discover. So it has the device. In Devices in DCR, it shows it has 1 device. But when i search for the IP of that device, the small popup comes up. If i click Device Center, i get: "The device is not available in the Device Credential Repository, or you are not authorized to view the device details.". How can I not be authorized to view it? I'm the local admin on both the device and cisco works.
I should mention that I'm successfully able to do ciscoview on the device. The device also doesn't show up in any of my device trees (attachment). The CW router comes up, but the actual device (i.e. the IP) doesn't show up in the tree, so I can't even select a device anywhere in the program.
Anybody have any ideas?
Aamir

Try this, follow the steps at https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-8796 to reinitialize the CMF database. Then run your Discovery job again to find this one device. See if you are able to view it in Device Center and under other components.

Exactly what did you do to get this device selector screenshot? Some device selectors are group selectors and do not show individual devices. Also, exactly what did you do to reproduce the Device Center error? What you are seeing is not a limitation of the eval version if this is the only device you have in DCR.

Hm. I tried running it and I don't seem to have the Opsxml database. I'm not sure why? What should I do?
Thank you! Really appreciate this.

Don't worry about that. The opsxml data is for LMS 3.x only. You only need to reinitialize the cmf database.

Works! Thank you so much!
