Hello, in LMS (4.1) installing guide, table 'Software and Hardware Requirements for Soft Appliance', it is stated
Memory and CPURequirement: • 4 GB, 2 virtual CPU (< = 500 devices)
Host CPU Core clock speed: • Minimum 2.26 GHz
Minimum Virtual CPU Reservations: Number of recommended virtual CPUs x 2.26 GHz: • 4520 MHz (< = 500 devices)
I have HP server with 6 core CPU 2.0GHz - does it mean it does not meet the minimum system requirements (2.26Ghz)? Will I be able to go pass the installation?

That 2.26Ghz is for the host which would reside on the Virtual machine.
The HP server you have, is if a virtual server, it should be able to provide you a host with accelerated cpu cycles.
That said, even if you want to install on that server with 2Ghz it should give a warning that perfomence may be degraded, but you should be able to install LMS 4.1 on it.
-Thanks

Great Vinod, thank you for your prompt answer! Exactly, I would use VMware ESX on that HP server - so you think it will pass the installation? What do you mean by 'should be able to provide you a host with accelerated cpu cycles' ? To 'overclock' CPU in VM? Is it possible to do that?
