I want to take stats between two devices connected through a SP MPLS nw. As I select them as src and target and DefaultVPN as operations, I get an error "CHECK IF RTR RESPONDER IS ENABLED ON TARGET". I have configured "rtr responder" command in the target Cisco 2970 with IOS > 12.2. The SRC device is core switch Cisco 4948 IOS> 12.2. It shows status of "Default IP echo" between them but not letting configure "default VPN". Can anyone please suggest on this.
What version of IPM are you using? How have you added the target to IPM? What is its node type? For this type of operation, the target type must be SAA Responder and not simply IP. You should also check the SNMP read-only community string to make sure the value in IPM is correct.
I had added Target as IP devices. After I deleted and re-added them as SAA Responder and configured "rtr responder" in those switches, I am able to make collector and then view logs.
